The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the source of our faith and life at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Bible is all about Jesus (John 5:39), and so God uses his word to create faith in our hearts (Romans 10:17).
All churches believe the Bible. We at Trinity Lutheran Church believe, teach, and confess that the Lutheran confessions contained in the Book of Concord are the best explanation of what the Bible says and means.
God forms us as a church by baptism and the preaching of his word. Our sins are forgiven as we receive Christ's body and blood on the altar. We also sing and pray God's word back to him. We have kept the best parts of the Church's ancient liturgy.
What we today call Trinity Lutheran Church began as a congregation of German immigrants in Maysville, KY in the mid nineteenth century. We are thankful for faithful Lutherans who sacrificed so that this congregation still survives.
We hope you will join us at Trinity Lutheran Church!
